2. Differential pressure measurement via master-slave arrangement
2. Differential pressure measurement via master-slave arrangement
Electronic differential pressure measurement is used in many applications for detecting the level in tanks and other vessels. It is usually made via a differential pressure transmitter and two capillaries and by differential pressure measurement in a compact measuring cell.

Those who want to minimise possible temperature errors and achieve higher accuracies should consider the following solution: a system with two pressure transmitters in a master-slave arrangement, which measure the two pressures p1 and p2 directly on the object. The master instrument then calculates the differential pressure from the two measured values.

3. High-accuracy level transmitters in a compact design
3. High-accuracy level transmitters in a compact design
With the new FLM-CA and FLM-CM float-based level transmitters, working on the magnetostrictive principle, the product portfolio from WIKA has been expanded with two further high-accuracy sensors for liquid level monitoring.

In addition to the previously available standard FLM-S series, which is used specifically in pharmaceutical and chemical applications, the FLM-C model series features a very compact and space-saving design. In addition to explosion-protected versions, vibration-resistant variants are also available, up to a loading of 4 g.

4. Monoblock specifically for applications with natural gas and aggressive media
4. Monoblock specifically for applications with natural gas and aggressive media
The IBF monoblock can withstand critical processes, even at high pressures, and is available as double block & bleed or block & bleed.

The compact design reduces the vibration sensitivity and the leakage potential. A combination of plastic and metal sealing assists safe operation: In the event of failure of the "soft" seal, the pressure presses the ball seamlessly into its metal seat. The leak tightness of the system has been tested in accordance with BS6755 / ISO 5208 leakage rate A.

5. SIL approval for pressure and temperature switches
5. SIL approval for pressure and temperature switches
Individually installed, WIKA pressure and temperature switches fulfil the requirements of SIL 2. If a combination of two instruments is configured redundantly, the switches even reach SIL 3 level.

The new ratings for WIKA pressure and temperature switches are based on reliable and real data from end-user operation (e.g. the error rate in the field from end-user customers). Furthermore, the components of the switches were evaluated using data following at least 100,000,000 operating hours in the field. With these new ratings and the new SIL approval, we can offer mechanical pressure and temperature switches for your application with high safety.

6. SF6 calculation app
6. SF6 calculation app
WIKA's new SF6 calculation app for SF6 gas enables an easy conversion of relevant SF6 parameters. Not only does it calculate the SF6 density from the input pressure and the input temperature, but it also converts the important SF6 humidity units with the specific improvement factors. Download the app today!

Do you need to know more about SF6? We offer regular expert training – take a look at our offer.

8. Calibration service for length measuring instruments
8. Calibration service for length measuring instruments
As a result of the standards that must be met, it is necessary to perform a regular calibration of length measuring instruments. Measuring test equipment and reference gauges are used on a daily basis in production lines. WIKA offers testing of measuring instruments in its calibration laboratories.
