New products in the WIKA online shop In the WIKA online shop, our customers find a comprehensive selection of mechanical and electronic pressure and temperature measuring instruments, supplemented by other products from the fields of level measurement and calibration technology.
The portfolio of force measurement has now been fundamentally revised and significantly expanded. All force sensors are available directly from stock.
Furthermore, our air2guide (A2G) measuring instruments for ventilation and air-conditioning have recently been added to the WIKA online shop.
It's been a while since you've been to our WIKA online shop? Have a look – we are just a click away. | | | 2. New diaphragm monitoring system The DMSU21SA from WIKA helps you to fulfil the constantly growing requirements for process monitoring on plants for sanitary applications. The patented safety function is based on a double diaphragm with an evacuated intermediate space. Thus, in the event of a diaphragm rupture, contamination of the process and environment is prevented, while at the same time the pressure monitoring can be continued. The model DMSU21SA is available with all sterile connections and the specific system fill fluids. | | | 3. Electronic flow switch for liquid media The model FSD-4 electronic flow switch from WIKA offers full flexibility in monitoring and controlling flow based on the velocities of liquid media. The switch points of the model FSD-4 can be freely configured very easily via the 3-button operation directly on the instrument or optionally via IO-Link. The model FSD-4 can output both absolute values in various units and relative flow values and display them on the digital indicator. | | | 4. IO-Link – what actually is it? The topic of IO-Link has become increasingly important in recent years. But what exactly is behind this technology and how does it work? Take a look at our new know-how video. In it, we explain how IO-Link technology works and we show you all the important features and advantages. | | | 5. Sensors with diagnostic function Pressure sensors with integrated diagnostic function and IO-Link provide the user with information about the current status of the measuring instrument. This means that it can always be seen, immediately and beyond doubt, whether the measuring instrument is working outside its specifications and thus whether there is a defect or malfunction.
Find out more in our new blog post, in which we explain how it works, using the A-1200 pressure sensor as an example. | | | 6. In-situ verification Temperature monitoring is an important component for hydrocracking operations and for keeping the efficiency and safety at the highest possible level. The radiation temperature profiling technology does not necessarily have to be changed every time the catalyst is replaced. However, it is recommended that a preventive analysis of the entire system is carried out.
An in-situ verification service for all temperature points according to operators request within the catalytic reactor bed, as part of the analysis, is an excellent way to simulate the functionality of some important safety features of the hydrocracker operation. This results a field verification record.
This type of service should be performed as a final step before loading a new catalyst. | | | 7. In-house testing at WIKA In order to ensure consistently high quality, measuring instruments from WIKA undergo an extensive test programme throughout their entire development cycle until delivery. The tests are mainly carried out in the company's own laboratories – even for unusual tasks and specific customer requirements.

Optimisation of hydraulic systems through the integration of smart pressure sensors Advancing digitalisation opens up new possibilities for optimised control and monitoring of hydraulic systems. An important aspect here is the integration of smart components such as pressure sensors.
