Enjoy reading and have a happy Easter and relaxing holidays. | | | | | | 1. Save the date On 19 March, Anuga FoodTec opens its doors in Cologne. Visit us at our stand and experience how WIKA is driving the food industry forward with innovative solutions. You will also soon find us at the MSR-Spezialmesse in Frankfurt (20 March), the Hannover Messe (22–26 April), Control in Stuttgart (23–26 April), Expo-Lounges in Karlsruhe (23–25 April), Leuna Dialog (25 April), the MSR-Spezialmesse in Halle (5 June) and ACHEMA in Frankfurt (10–14 June). Our experts are looking forward to your questions and projects. | | | 2. Discover our new claim in action! "Smart in sensing" has been our claim and leitmotif since 2023. It represents our endeavour not only to offer you intelligent solutions, but also to create added value and achieve sustainable effects. In our video, we show you what we mean by "Smart in sensing" and how we can respond to the challenges of digitalisation, decarbonisation and demographic change together. | | | 3. Future-proof, modular, high-precision Do you also encounter challenges in the precise measurement and control of differential pressure and air flow in your air-handling units? Our A2G-500 family is the answer. You can conveniently commission the instruments via NFC using the WIKA app and integrate them into your facility management system via an analogue or digital signal as well as wirelessly (LoRaWAN®). You can detect critical system statuses at a glance with the help of the display's traffic light function. The weatherproof instruments are robust and, thanks to automatic zero point setting, for you even maintenance-free. | | | 4. Optimised monitoring and maximum reliability The newly developed thermometer with True Drift Detection (TDD) closes a gap in the optimisation of the safety of temperature monitoring with resistance thermometers. With a special double-sensor functionality, it immediately detects any unwanted deviation from the process temperature (reference) and can be used over a large measuring range between -50 °C and +500 °C. This means that temperature measuring locations with comprehensive condition monitoring can be realised in almost all processes in the process industry. | | | 5. New tubeskin thermocouple assembly The TC59-E eTEFRACTO-PAD® is the second product of our new generation of tubeskin thermocouples. Its design incorporates key elements of our TEFRACTO-PAD®, while providing the ability to install the welded components, without the sensor element, on a tubeskin. Through extensive testing at WIKA's research and development facility in Houston, the eTEFRACTO-PAD® has proven to be the most accurate removable thermocouple sensor on the market today, while offering flexibility in installation and maintenance. | | | 6. Coatings of measuring instruments and diaphragm seals Coatings protect sensitive measuring instruments such as differential pressure measuring instruments, process transmitters as well as pressure gauges from damage. We offer a variety of coatings that meet specific requirements. Discover the world of WIKA coatings and find out how you can protect your measuring instruments from damage! With our videos, you can find out about a wide range of topics and products, anytime and anywhere. Just visit our channel and subscribe to it so you won't miss any new videos. | | | 7. Process transmitters for pressure measurement in sanitary applications Measurement technology plays a decisive role in optimising process sequences and reducing operating costs since it controls the parameters of the process. The measuring instruments used must therefore fulfil specific requirements in terms of material, surface finish quality, process safety, connection technology and cleanability. We have developed the DMSU22SA dry measuring in-line process transmitter to meet most of these challenges. Say hello to aseptic perfection with our revolutionary in-line measurement technology! Also watch our video to see for yourself how it is transforming food and beverage production! | | | 8. Ignition protection type Ex i for pressure measuring instruments with battery operation In the course of digitalisation, companies are increasingly relying on pressure measuring instruments with battery operation and a radio unit. For use in hazardous areas, such as in the chemical industry, the ignition protection types Ex i (intrinsically safe) or Ex d (explosionproof enclosure) are favoured. Both types are standardised ignition protection types and are therefore considered equally safe.

This goal is increasingly determining the way we act and think at WIKA. For this reason, we will publish our first external sustainability report in April 2024. Here we want to show what WIKA is already doing in terms of the environment, social issues and governance and in which direction we want to develop further. We are, however, not only focusing on our own company division, we also want to support you as our customer with our products on the subject of sustainability. | | | | Find out more about the group of companies. | | | | | | Inform yourself about our latest blog posts. | | | | | | Take a look at our WIKA social media channels. | | | | | | | | © 2024 WIKA Alexander Wiegand SE & Co.
