Thermometer connection heads: extremely durable and easy to install The new connection head family PIH for all electrical thermometers features easy handling and is extremely robust. Their shape and a special paint finish make the housings extremely resistant to environmental influences, even being resistant to seawater. They are also suitable for mounting on thermometers in all common explosion protection variants (Ex i, Ex d, Ex e). Their high flexibility of use is supported by various designs. | | | 4. New hygienic diaphragm seal system with IO-Link The diaphragm seal system that can do more! The new DSSA11SA diaphragm seal system connects via IO-Link, has a diagnostic function and provides quick status information on-site thanks to the 360° LED status display. Thanks to its compact design, it fits into almost any installation environment. The design of the measuring system is also 3-A- and EHEDG-certified, which is the prerequisite for use in sterile processes as well as in CIP and SIP processes. | | | 5. In-line process transmitter in Hygienic Design The new DMSU22SA in-line process transmitter allows for hygienic in-line pressure measurement for the pharmaceutical industry and for aseptic food processing.
This is enabled through the patented sensor tube solution of the in-line process transmitter, in combination with the sensor monitoring within the double-tube system, providing optimum protection against process and environmental contamination. The in-line process transmitter can be supplied with all common process connections for sanitary applications and fulfils the applicable standards for them. | | | 6. IIoT solutions – from measured value to added value WIKA's holistic IIoT solutions enable comprehensive networking for monitoring of assets, improving operational performance, performing preventive maintenance activities and optimising resource consumption.
WIKA makes data available along the entire value chain and therefore creates the basis for new business models and processes. Find out more on our revised IIoT microsite. | | | 7. Your partner in preventing fugitive emissions Fugitive emissions pose a threat to the climate, the environment and health. They are caused by leaks or by the irregular escape of the greenhouse gas & in the process industries, for example, on valves, process connections, compressors, pumps, tanks and other process components. WIKA offers comprehensive instrumentation solutions that minimise and prevent the occurrence of gas leaks in industrial processes. They are characterised by customised design features. In addition, there is a selection of application-specific special materials and leakage rate testing. WIKA has put together an independent solution portfolio for SF6 gas applications. | | | 8. Safe pressure measurement in chlorine production Pressure measurement plays a central role in chlorine production, which is a safety-critical process. This is due to the fact that chlorine is highly reactive and can therefore easily trigger explosions in combination with organic substances.
So it is important to precisely monitor all production steps in order to avoid damage to people and the environment. This is why diaphragm seal systems make all the difference when it comes to measuring the process pressure. These welded units of diaphragm seal and measuring instrument provide both the durability and the accuracy required.
